Nothing drearier than a rainy day.... except several rainy days in a row. The bright spot is that the yard is starting to come alive with different plants putting out their "colors".
The first Crinum stalk puts out it's many flowers.....(**this is called Ellen Bosanquet (bo-SANK-ee) Crinum accoridng to Liz, the garden guru. You can get them at Ty Ty Nursery in GA.)
The butterfly bushes are putting out huge, purple and lavender clusters of flowers and the butterflies are all a buzz.
There has been a gorgeous male Eastern Tiger Swallowtail flitting around, but I haven't been able to catch him in a photo - yet!
