Delicately Lovely

There have been quite a few dragonflies about... one landed on me...a beauty in jeweled tones of blue. Sort of like this one...

Loved the purplish tone of this one..

.....and the orangy colors of this one..

Those transparent wings seem so ethereal and fragile ..... delicately lovely!

* I took this one later than the others. I found out from the Dragonfly.org site that it's called a Common Whitetail.
