The Pony Show

This morning,fellow dog clubber, Lisa, and I went over to watch of bit of the dressage at a local stable. Another dog club friend, Debra, keeps her horse, Savannah, there and she was to be one of the "jumper" judges...not sure if it was for the cross country or stadium jumping - or maybe both.

We visited Savannah and showed us her trick - Debra points at her and says "Pucker up" and she does! Funny!


The barn kitties all swarmed us hoping for a handout, or just maybe for us to admire them.

This cute shaggy pony was also there as a spectator...


Since it was so cloudy, I tried a high ISO on my camera so I wouldn't have to use the flash and in the sports mode. Some photos came out fuzzy and some came out well. I think I need to go back to the book to ready up on the ISO and shutter speed.

I put the those photos that came out well in the slide show. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we both under-dressed for that wide open hillside! Brrrrrrr.....

The riders are in no particular order in the slide show. Hope the kids get to see themselves....
