A Flash of Color

The weatherman promised us some sunshine today, but early on it was chilly and gray.... but I found some color anyway.

Way out back, along a shady area, there is this variegated bush which provides some color in a brown landscape.

In the brown of the grass and the bare tree branches, there are Eastern Bluebirds flitting around looking for insects and worms.

There are Blue Jays at the feeder.....

...and the ever present opportuntisic squirrels looking for some sunflower seeds.
