Tenative Spring

It must be spring, because the cherry tree is in bloom and the bees are a buzzing!

The birds are ravenous, too. While I was trying to get some photos of the bees and blossoms, this pine warbler couldn't wait to get to the new suet cake I had put out.

From out the bedroom window, I can see the feeder and the suet cake. The goldfinches had taken charge of the feeder and a red-bellied woodpecker checks out the suet cake.

Aha! My cat killed what I thought was a yellowhammer, but now I believe it was a goldfinch. Beautiful photos, especially the top one.
