Butterfly Dogs

Yesterday, I went down to Becky's and we spent the day talking dogs, taking photos , buying a camera and doing lunch. Dogs, photography and food - a refreshing afternoon in my book!

As you might guess, Becky has Papillons - named after the way their ears and hair fringe flares out like butterfly wings. This dog yard gate was made by her husband - hence the "Becky's Butterflies".

The Paps ideally have a white blaze that simulates the butterflies body, but they don't have to have it. Honestly.... look at this cute dark faced puppy - is she not the cutest thing on the block???? ....and sassy, too!

This handsome fellow, called Billy, is visiting from Germany. He's here to become an American champion, added to Becky's pack and then go home. He's a nice boy and very photogenic!
