Backyard Bounty

The backyard is a virtual bounty of goodies this year. The blueberries are starting to ripen and turn that lovely dusky blue.

The "lemon" figs are growing fast.

The pear trees are loaded! After about 3 years of getting their new shoots and buds frozen in a late March frost, the pear tree managed to escape and has pears hanging as thick as grapes on a vine.

Even though the dogs have snagged all they can off the bottom limbs, there's going to be plenty to share with the friends and neighbors.
