Early January doesn't present me much to photograph that's really exciting...plus, today it's mostly cloudy with an occasional glimpse of sunlight through a break in the clouds. As the dogs and I were on our walk about the yard, the sun peeped out and gave me this lovely cloud study.

The bird feeder was doing a brisk business and I managed to catch this Mourning Dove just before it flew off. The cherry tree behind it is trying to put out some blossoms in between the warm and freezing days.
