Wildflower Walk

I took a walk down the water works trail today and found lovely sights.The fall wildflowers were so beautiful with their purples and yellows.....

Even those whose times were passed had their own special beauty.

There were huge mops of Goldenrod .....

Don't these look like some fancy women's headwear from long, long ago? It's called Showy rattlebox (Crotalaria spectabilis Roth)

Even the seed pods had their own style and loveliness...


...from pretty pink blooms ( Purple Gerardia) to tiny asters ...

.....nature's variety is amazing.
