Early morning these purple flowers open up and the Hummingbirds flock to enjoy them. They only last a day and by evening will have fallen off. I can see the Hummers at work from the computer room. This morning, I grabbed the camera to see if I could get a photo of one of them around the flowers.
... Nope, they didn't like me sitting out there and took off around the house to the feeder out back.
Flowers are still pretty tho.....
The Hummers kept coming back trying to get to the front feeder, so I sat and watched until they were more accustomed to me. Here two of them square off for feeding rights.
...and the winner was a beautiful emerald green male.
