Black Swallowtail Visitor

Hard to tell, sometimes, the difference between a Black Swallowtail and the dark phase of the female Eastern Swallowtail. Regardless, they are spectacular butterflies.

The difference is the spotted body and the extra row of orange dots on the lower wings.
Nope, not a butterfly, but standing under a pine, I looked up through the needles and thought these cones were kinda pretty. :-)
