Coat Colors

I rode over to Baldwin county to Dr Bercier's clinic for both equine and canine reproduction with Darlene. She collecting one of her Beagle males. It was a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky.

While the doc had only her grey Thorobred at the clinic, the neighbor's horses provided a study in coat colors.

A creme palomino. Wonder what the genetics are?? Dilute chestnut perhaps?

The palomino is pasture mates with a chestnut.

In the next field there was this handsomely patterned horse.

Same horse, different side... can't remember what the color pattern on this pinto is...will have to look it up.

The grey...

Another chestnut and a buckskin pair in the back field..... something so soothing about watching horses in the pasture.
